I love chocolate ganache on cake, its kind of fudgy in texture but really chocolatey! A lovely alternative to buttercream and nice with any cake that I can imagine.

You will need:
2 cups of dark chocolate chips
1 cup/240ml double cream
(I personally am a secret fan of the US ‘cup’ method as its less effort than weighing although for instance 1 cup of icing sugar will weigh less than 1 cup of chocolate chips- I think!)
